Me Vs. The Bow-tie

A few months ago I had plans to attend a party here in my city. I'm not really the partying type of individual I would rather spend my free time amongst close friends and family. But this was different, I actually was interested in going, and we all know the hardest part of going out is deciding what to wear....

 After much thought and arm pulling by my wife, I (she) decided on a suit. I wear suits all the time but this time I wanted the look to be different so I chose to wear a bow-tie instead of the normal necktie look. I mean how hard could it be, I have been tying my own neck-ties since my sophomore year in high school so I was very confident it would be easy. Little did i know...

I was given directions and a quick run-through at my suit store and at that point I knew I may have made the wrong decision (lol). Fast forward to the night of the event, I have already spent 45 mins if not more trying to tie this bow-tie, I am 30 mins past fed up and 1 min away from just saying "F**K IT".... Then here comes my beautiful wife fully dressed and waiting on me (which I can honestly never happens...lol) She says "why don't you just look on youtube" At this moment I don't know what feeling was stronger

• Anger that I didn't think of that myself first or...

• Anger that she didn't say this to me 30 mins prior

But either way I took her advice and....

This is like "How To Tie a Bow-tie For Dummies" But it worked out perfectly for me and the results....
